The smell of fresh coffee coming from Bewleys on Dublin's Grafton Street is a fond childhood memory for many people. That was the start of the Irish coffee experience.

The Merrion Inn has team up with the Ariosa Coffee Roasting Company to serve our customers some of the finest coffee available in Ireland. Ariosa is a boutique roasting company based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath and is headed up by Michael Kelly.

'Coffee roasting is similar to making a good wine. The roaster needs to understand the character of each bean type, how it reacts to heat and how its flavours blend with those of other beans'

Ariosa only work with speciality coffee, roast their coffee beans in small quantities and deliver freshly roasted coffee to The Merrion Inn every week. The coffee is freshly ground for each and every cup to give our customers a fresh, aromatic and delicious double shot of coffee in every time.
