Our specials for this menu include Linguine of Tiger Prawns pan fried with roast peppers & baby spinach in a garlic cream with parmesan crumble, Paupiettes of Lemon Sole stuffed with a fresh salmon mousse, honey almond butter glaze, tender stem broccoli & gratin potato and also Wild Wicklow Venison Steak served on an organic vegetable crush with black cherry & juniper jus with potato fondant. Or choose a tasty starter as a snack - Crisp Fried Crab & Corn Cakes served with a homemade tomato chilli jam & creme fraiche.

Fearghus Mc Cormack wins the Pilsner Urquell International Master Bartender 2011
Fearghus Mc Cormack of The Merrion Inn was recently crowned the Pilsner Urquell International Master Bartender 2011 in a dramatic final in Prague. Fearghus is now the International Brand Ambassador for 2011/2012 and a google search now brings up more than just his Facebook page.

The Heineken Cup Trophy visits The Merrion Inn
The Heineken Cup Trophy made an appearance on Thursday 14th July for our customers to see it up close & personal. Both those who called in especially to see the cup and anyone who was just passing by were happy to get a chance to hold this famous piece of silverware and find out that it actually is quite heavy. Hope eveyone enjoyed themselves.
