Our Story
Welcome To The Merrion Inn
We are a third generation family run business with a simple philosophy – have happy customers.
We couldn’t achieve this without our fantastic team, some who are with us for up to 20 years – they are our best asset and we cannot do it without them.
Our key focus is on our food offering and we have an extensive a la carte menu with daily fresh fish specials. All of our food is prepared in-house, using the finest fresh ingredients.
Our team of chefs is led by Head Chef Jon Rogen formerly of Caviston’s.

Our delicious steaks are cooked to perfection, and our fresh fish, chicken (the wings are legendary!), and pasta dishes are second-to-none. We’ve got daily specials, delightful desserts, and do a fabulous Sunday Roast!
Gluten-Free Dining
Our chefs goes the extra mile to create dishes that are gluten free, from our famous Fish & Chips to daily fish specials to our Sticky Toffee Pudding. Treat yourself!
Family-Friendly
We’re famously family-friendly and the younger members of the family can enjoy a menu they’ll love including fish, chicken, pasta, and risotto. They can enjoy an ’99’ for dessert. You can reserve a family-friendly area too.
Parties & Functions
We’ve hosted celebrations for decades with everything from Christmas parties and big birthdays to communions and confirmations, we’ve even had some weddings! We’re the ideal Dublin 4 party venue.
